Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Ecuador – Middle of the World City.
Take your international flight from US to Quito (Ecuador). after your arrival our representative will be waiting for you to take you to the hotel where you will spend the night.
Day 2: Free day in Quito and Addaptation to the altitude.
Today you have the day to explore Quito at your leisure, we recommend taking it easy due to the high elevation of the city.
You will spend the night in Quito
Day 3 – Waterfalls route – Ambato baths.
After breakfast in the Hotel, We will do the famous Route of the Waterfalls. The first stop will be Agoyan and Guamag Waterfalls: Two impressive waterfalls that join feeding the Pastaza River that goes to the Ecuadorian east.
We cross the old road Tunnels that linked the city of Baños with the City of Puyo, in the second stop we will enjoy La Esperanza waterfall, Puertas del Cielo waterfall, Face of Christ, and white river.
On the third stop, we will enjoy:
Mantle of the Bride: The whiteness of its waters and the shape of its fall resemble a bridal veil
San Pedro Waterfall: Its clean waters come from the páramos of the Sangay National Park.
Pailón del Diablo Waterfall.
Once we get to Ambato town, we will have a free afternoon and we will spend the night in this town.
Day 4 – Suchipakari Amazon Experience.
After breakfast, we will depart to the Ecuadorian East. We will travel to Puerto Misahualli to reach our lodge.
We start the tour with a welcome lunch and a short general briefing about your stay in Suchipakari Lodge.
Walking through primary and secondary forest paths, we observe different species of birds and insects, as well as a great variety of trees and medicinal plants. The guides explain how such plants are used not only in medicine but also in construction and other local activities.Along the trails, there are several opportunities to increase the adventure factor with climbing vines for swing from trees like Tarzan or walking under towering trees through pristine forests to observe the giant kapok (Ceiba) and the Strangler Fig (Ficus sp), feeling the presence of innumerable creatures found in every corner of the forest.
5:00 p.m.: In the afternoon, we move on to experience the true adventure of explorers. From a sandy beach, our guide shows us how to use his bare hands to paddle aboard fun tubes. Show your skills, test your coordination. Swim at your own pace, be amazed by incredible landscapes and discover a natural world. Then those who wish can float down the river for about an hour, on the way back to Suchipakari Lodge.
7:30 pm: Special dinner and welcome cocktail. Overnight in Suchipakari lodge
Day 5 – Suchipakari Amazon Experience.
06:00: Breakfast
07:00: After breakfast, bring your rubber boots. Explore the incredible rainforest that surrounds Suchipakari Lodge. Here, there are a series of hikes (with varying levels of difficulty) that can last anywhere from an hour to four hours, taking you through the thick and humid jungle, crossing muddy paths, and encountering all kinds
of wildlife. Meanwhile, your local guide will introduce you to all the secrets and hidden wonders of the jungle. Upon reaching our destination we can swim in the wonderful waterfall. 12:00 pm: Box lunch 1:00 pm: Continue with the visit to an indigenous family of the sector. Learn and share about the jungle lifestyle of indigenous families. In this intimate encounter, a Kichwa woman will welcome the guests. Through a discreet dialogue, we learn about her daily life, she shows us how to make chicha, a typical drink (tasting is optional)
It demonstrates the spiritual cleansing rituals that are still practiced today throughout the surrounding community. Finally, we take part in a blowgun target-shooting contest – try your luck and see if you can hit the monkey’s target, but don’t expect to beat the natives!
It is an intimate and unique experience, in which we discover both the differences and the similarities between our culture and yours.

Day 6 – Ecuadorian Chocolate Activity and Back to Quito.
08:00: Breakfast
09:30 am: ECUADORIAN CHOCOLATE: Considered “a gift from the Gods”. In this “hands-on” program, you will have the opportunity to learn interesting aspects of cocoa and chocolate, from its origin and history, participating in the entire production process, from harvesting the fruit, drying and grinding the seed, also the development of the traditional drink of our ancestors and, of course, enjoying a high-quality organic chocolate.
12:00: Check out. End of services at the lodge.
We will take our transportation to drive back to Quito where you will overnight
Day 7 – Flight to Galapagos – Charles Darwin Station
We will pick you up from your hotel in order to take your flight from Quito to Galapagos.
Upon arrival to the Island of Baltra, travelers are inspected at the Airport to ensure that they do not introduce plants or animals to the Islands and pay the National Park entrance fee. Our Guides will meet the passengers, collect their luggage and accompany them to the Hotel/LUNCH located on Santa Cruz Island. Visit to the C. Charles Darwin Station and the Interpretation Center of the P.N.G. visit the exhibitors of turtles and land iguanas. Return to the hotel and dinner
Day 8 – Galapagos – Tortuga bay beach – high part, ranch, tunnels, turtles.
After beakfast in the hotel, guide will pick you up in order to start A 45-minute walk through majestic vegetation and wonderful land birds, the trail will lead us to one of the beautiful and impressive beaches of the Galapagos and Ecuador where we will find the large black Marine Iguanas walking along the shore of the soft sand and wonderful dunes, good place for surfing activity. Return to the Hotel/LUNCH – Use of the facilities. In the afternoon. Visit to the Ranch, where we can find giant tortoises in their natural state, we can also enjoy the weather, the country atmosphere and share with these wonderful creatures and learn how they live on the island. We will also visit the lava tunnels, splendid volcanic formations, which show in their magnitude that these islands come from large underwater volcanic eruptions. Return to the Hotel / DINNE.
Day 9 – Galapagos – alemanes beach + salt mines + las grietas.
After beakfast in the hotel we will tour to the beautiful Alemanes Beach where we can carry out swimming activities, observe and take photos of the natural Salt Mines, enjoy a bath in the incredible Grietas and carry out the snorkeling activity renting equipment in advance. Return to the Hotel / LUNCH – Use of the facilities / DINNER
Day 10 – Galapagos – flight back to Quito.
After Breakfast, we will pick you up in order to take the flight back to Quito and then your connecting flight to US
